Invitation - 5 years of constitution of the Sorbian/Wendish Parliament

The Serbski Sejm was constituted five years ago on 17 November as the first democratically elected Sorbian/Wendish parliament in Slepo/Schleife. This anniversary will be celebrated on 17 November 2023 from 5 pm in the parish centre „Bjesada“, Hauptstraße 27, Njebjelčicy/Nebelschütz.

The laudation and greetings will be culturally framed - traditional and modern.

We are particularly looking forward to a video message from the President of the Parliament of the German-speaking Community (DG) of East Belgium, Charles Servaty. The DG is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of its parliamentary representation at the same time.

The event will also provide an open discussion space on the current situation and provide information on the election for the second legislative term of the Sejm.
